Margeaux visits Queensland!

“I was lucky enough to be invited by Qantas Holidays on a trip to Australia visiting beautiful Queensland and the Northern Territory.  I am originally from Brisbane Australia and it was very strange visiting Australia as a tourist, but it was amazing to visit places I have never been before.  Australia is a spectacular country and no matter how many times you visit it there is always something new and exciting to experience.
 
The trip had so many highlights including:
- Having our own private Prince of Wales carriage on the world famous Ghan train from Darwin to Alice Springs
- Hot air ballooning over the outback at sunrise
- A helicopter ride over the amazing Katherine Gorge
- Sitting next to the pilot taking off on Fraser Island on a beach runway
- Camping under the stars in Kakadu with APT Tours
 
These are just a few highlights, and believe me there are many more; however I have not got enough room to write them all down!
 
Overall this was a fantastic trip which I will never forget.  If you ever get to experience Australia then you will definitely not be disappointed, so get yourselves down under!!”
