Fabulous Florida!

Jo, the Deputy Manager from our Dereham branch, recently visited Florida - read about her exciting break!

“I travelled to Florida with Jetset Holidays and stayed in a private 4-bedroom villa at Highlands Reserve, Davenport, which is near to Kissimmee.  This is ideal for families or large groups as the villas are very spacious and add that touch of class.  They often come with private pools and games rooms and are only a maximum of 25 minutes away from Disney itself.

While we were there we were lucky enough to be able to fit in visits to Walt Disney World, Sea World, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios and also take a trip on an Airboat ride on Boggy Creek.

Walt Disney World was really great - this park is aimed at families particularly with younger children, but people of all ages will enjoy all the rides and there is definitely something for everyone, including Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Sea World was amazing too - it's a marine life adventure park and you can see the world famous 'Shamu' show which features a family of killer whales, definitely not one to miss!

Universal Studios and Islands of Adventures are brilliant places to visit and there is so much fun to be had at both. I would say that these parks are aimed at families with older children, but again loved by all.

The highlights for me were the Incredible Hulk rollercoaster – I nearly lost my voice through screaming so much!  The Revenge of the Mummy, Shrek 4d and The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman were all thrilling as well!

My trip wouldn't have been complete without experiencing some of the amazing shops that Florida has to offer.  On my last day we went to a Premium outlets shopping mall which has designer shops such as Diesel, Guess and Versace all at cut price!!!  Needless to say I didn't bring any money home with me! Considering that it apparently takes 67 full days to complete all that Florida has to offer, one holiday there is never enough, so I will definitely be going back........”
